PixelatedRESULTS: Stephen Nasse, Bubba Pollard Flex Muscle in Saturday Practice for the Rattler 250 and Baby Rattler 125 at South Alabama

OPP, Alabama (May 23, 2020) — Saturday at the Rattler provides teams one more chance to test their machines prior to laying down the all important qualifying lap, leading into the main event. Before today’s 15th Annual Grasshopper Pro Late Rattler 125, and tomorrow’s 44th Annual Hardee’s Rattler 250 at South Alabama Speedway, there was practice, and here are the results.

For the Southern Super Series Super Late Models, Stephen Nasse rattled off the fastest lap of the day, a 15.291 second lap, during final practice for the Rattler 250. Bubba Pollard was close behind with a 15.327 lap around the speedway, situated in some of Alabama’s premiere peanut farming communities.

Speaking of Pollard, the 2018 Baby Rattler Champion is looking strong with his bid to earn another victory in the Saturday race, topped the boards with a 15.788 second lap, 0.015 seconds ahead of second place Kyle Plott.
