More About Daniel Vining
Daniel Vining is a motorsports content creator from Pensacola, Florida. Daniel’s love for motorsports began at the age of 10, after attending his first ever stock race at his home track, Five Flags Speedway. From that point on, he has been addicted to all things racing and has pursued various endeavors within the industry.
In 2003, Daniel launched his first journalistic endeavor, a small racing blog called “The Speedzine”. In 2005, he was given his first opportunities as a motorsports photographer, capturing images at tracks from the Gulf Coast of Florida to the plains of North Dakota.
Over the years, Daniel has been a motorsports writer, photographer, public relations specialist, and webmaster. He has even tried his hand at driving and has been a race team crew member at the grass-roots level.
In 2018, Daniel returned to the motorsports journalism beat after a brief hiatus with the launch of PixelatedSPEED.com, covering events from NASCAR’s top tier to go karting on back country bullrings.
In 2022, Daniel transitioned from news to photo journalism and was the primary series photographer for the Southern Super Series. His photos were published by various editorial platforms including Racing America, Late Model Digest, Sunshine State Racing, and TobyChristie.com.
In 2023, Daniel was a photography partner for the ASA STARS National Tour, ASA Southern Super Series, and ASA CRA Super Series. In addition, he made his NASCAR photojournalism debut at the fall event at Talladega Superspeedway. In addition to providing photos for various private clientele, Daniel’s content was once again featured in various editorial publications and he became a photo contributor to Matt Weaver’s Short Track Scene.
In 2024, Daniel will continue to take all that follow along on the journey as he share’s a snapshot of the vast history of the sport and chronicles it’s future.
This outlet, and its various associated projects, provide Daniel with a platform to share his thoughts and experiences of a career that has now spanned almost two decades.
