Stephen Nasse Skips Rumble to Run Redbud 400
MONTGOMERY, Alabama to ANDERSON, Indiana (July 13, 2020) — Stephen Nasse, still fresh off winning the first of two races contested in Pensacola for the Southern Super Series in late June, was absent from this past weekend’s Rumble by the River 125 in Montgomery.
Following the trip to Pensacola, Nasse traveled to Jennerstown, Pennsylvania to race in the ARCA/CRA Super Series/CARS Tour combo Super Late Model event, finishing 18th.
Afterward, Nasse praised the facility and encouraged others to find their way to the speedway.
“I have to say that I’ve been to a lot of race tracks, but Jennerstown Speedway is one of the nicest facilities with the nicest people working there and running it,” he said. “I wish I would’ve ran better but we will definitely be back. Everyone should make the trip up there and check it out
He then stayed in the north, racing in the Slinger Nationals at Slinger Speedway in Wisconsin, finishing seventh.
“Man, Slinger Speedway is so much fun!,” he said. “Can’t wait to come back next year. Finished P7 last night! So cool to see all the fans up north, and to race with all the local guys up here.”
Sitting second in Southern Super Series points, Nasse opted to forgo the trip to Montgomery, instead spending some time with family and friends in the Chicago area before heading to Anderson Speedway in Indiana for the 54th Annual Redbud 400 on Monday, July 13, 2020.

Nasse’s absence opened the door for Jeremey Pate (3rd), and Jake Garcia (4th) to gain on points leader Bubba Pollard. Following his third place finish, Garcia takes that second spot in the standings.
The Red Bud 400 is set for tonight!, July 13, 2020 and can be seen live on Speed51.com as a pay-per-view for only $20 bucks.
